Snow Emergency Lifted – February 2

The Snow Emergency declared for the City of Lancaster will be lifted on Tuesday, February 2 at 4 p.m. Residents will have until 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3 to move their cars out from parking garage facilities.

Vehicles must be removed from designated garages no later than 8 a.m. on Wednesday, February 3, or be subject to paid parking.

Vehicles may return to snow emergency routes starting when the snow emergency is lifted at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2.

The street cleaning schedule will resume on Wednesday, February 3. Utilizing the street cleaning schedule when snow remains on the ground allows the Department of Public Works to continue to clear travel and parking lanes of snow. This work ensures access to safe travel and accessible parking for all residents.
