This website was created in partnership with LIVE Green and is intended to serve as a community resources to help residents and commercial property owners conserve water, prevent pollution and encourage efforts to “soak it up” using various forms of green infrastructure. Permeable Basketball Courts
At both Sixth Ward Park and Brandon Park, the City installed permeable macadam at the basketball courts, allowing for the courts to help capture and retain water. Players even appreciate the fact that there are no puddles after rain and local residents comment on how the sound from bouncing balls is less muted.
