Housing Authority

Established in 1949, the Housing Authority is an independent entity that provides affordable housing to eligible single persons, couples and families.

They own and operate 564 Public Housing units consisting of 259 family units and 305 elderly/disabled units set in six communities.

Housing is also provided through the Housing Choice Voucher Program. The LCHA administers 1,003 Vouchers by matching up eligible applicants with participating private landlords.

The Board of Directors meets the third Monday of each month at 4:30 PM at the Authority’s offices, 325 Church Street. For additional information, call 717-397-2835.
