In a previous letter dated September 28, 2017, the City stated that because of problems with the production of the structural liner due to recent hurricanes, we were pushing back the schedule of phase 1A and 1B. Since that letter, the city has bid out the replacement of the water mains and the selected contractor, Wexcon, is ready to begin work the week of October 29 in the area of the neighborhood that is currently on temporary water. Each affected resident will receive correspondence directly from Wexcon’s site superintendent with pertinent details regarding when and how your water service will be affected as the work progresses.
As a reminder, Phase 1B will move to next spring after the average temperatures are above freezing and phase 2A and 2B will take place after that phase is completed.
