City offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. There will be NO street cleaning. All regular Penn Waste trash and recycling collections will be delayed 1 day. Tuesday customers will be collected on Wednesday, Wednesday customers will be collected on Thursday and so on for the remainder of the week through Saturday. Please note that monthly yard waste collection will begin on Monday, July 3, so Tuesday through Friday customers should put their yard waste out alongside their other trash and recycling on their delayed collection day. As many of you have read in LNP last week, the Market District parking restrictions linked below are now in effect. The Lancaster Parking Authority will be issuing warnings for the remainder of the week. After this week of friendly warnings, ticketing will begin next week. We appreciate all those who attended Traffic Commission meetings and provides valuable feedback during the process of developing these policies to make the Lancaster Central Market area even more inviting for pedestrians and other users of this challenging area.  Click here for the full list of restrictions.
